The L Tower: Putting the L in Fly
So these days i'm not in my city much, every 6 months I touch down to visit family and friends. Since my career will most likely take me outside of Canada, I always have the dream of keeping a condo or loft downtown so when I come home I have a place to jam. The dream was to get a place at Tip Top Lofts, awesome location, art deco building, and recently totally redone into condos. Ballin right. Not for long. The L Tower being built at Yonge and Front is retarded. Hopefully reaching landmark status in our city, as long as they dont build around it, The L Tower is the new dream spot. I just like anything thats different enough to make people say " oh thats crazy." This should do it.

KRS-One & Buckshot - Robot
Ok, so for those of you who don't know KRS & Buckshot - they are legends. No one is as lyrical as K, and no one Buckshot's age is still rapping, HAHA, Pay Homage. These guys are legends, but this just goes to show you that some rappers just don't understand that the majority of listeners don't give a shit if you're using it - they just want good music. Shit half of them don't even know what Autotune is! (For info on Autotune: http://www.antarestech.com/) Look over-auto tuned vocals are fucked up, everyone IN the industry is sick that shit. But people IN the industry don't buy records, and the 13 year old girls who are still buying hardcopies love when rappers start T-Painin'. I'm an Autotune hater, but the reality is if your making any type of music singers don't always have perfect pitch - Antares helped a lot of singers and musicians; I say musicians because the real Autotune can tune almost anything; Guitars/Violins etc...It's actually very cool compared to that bootleg Logic plug-in you got so you could T-Pain too! It's when it falls into the wrong hands that it becomes like crack to an addict. Look if you wanna rap on it and use it as an EFFECT please do it tastefully, and if you need that much of it to sound like your not completely tone deaf then your just another sick human being who has delusional thought's of doing a duet with Britney, Bitch. I just don't get when people who can ACTUALLY sing get on it, it's hustling backwards - use your talent not the plug - in, and if you can't pull it off without the "robot-esque" flavor maybe singing shouldn't be first on your possible careers list. 2010 Jaguar XJ
The long awaited XJ. I'm still not sure what to think about this one. After all the hype around its unveiling with teaser videos and images, its just not as fly as I thought it would be. Jag's been doing alot to revamp its image, and their concepts are always hot, I just don't think this can compete with what other brands are putting out there. Hopefully when I see it in person it carries that presence I've always felt is part of the Jaguar DNA. Fresh, just not sure if its fly yet.

Throwback Album of the Week
One of the hottest albums in 96, Virtual Insanity was stuck in everyone's head. Jamiroquai definitely had a hand in shaping the new acid jazz/electronic sound. Platinum status - 11.5 Million worldwide. Travelling Without Moving brought that new Jazz / Disco Flavor to the world, and made it a little easier for groups like Daft Punk to become commercially successful. Pay homage.
